Photography and Videography

Love is in the Air.

Golden Hour with ice on the trees make for a nice bokeh effect.

My first snow engagement shoot! Last month, I met up with Brian and Megan at Jacobson Park in Lexington for their engagement session. I truly loved this shoot because not only did I get to photograph these two (who are CLEARLY madly in love with each other), their daughters were there for the shoot, as well! I’ve known Megan for a few years and she is a hoot!

We started off by photographing them as a family:

This family was so fun to watch while this was going on! One daughter was a bit shy, while the other daughter was very energetic and ready to take lots of pictures. They enjoyed taking some silly photos as well as some serious photos for dad and future step-mom to use for their Save the Dates and online wedding needs.

The couple met on Bumble and Brian proposed with a scavenger hunt, including cards, flowers, gift cards, and a final “Yes"!” at Olive Garden.

They will be getting married at a Catholic Church and having the reception at a Parish Center “to enter into sacramental commitment and life forever together.”

She said they are excited about Mass and reception with cake, punch, and wine. That would get me excited, too!

I asked Megan what the best part of the whole shoot was, and she said, “How fun and easy Sara made it, even if it was cold.”

When I asked if she had any advice for engaged couples who would be doing a shoot soon, she replied, “Be yourselves.”

Finally, I asked her how her overall experience was and she said, “Excellent, highly recommend!”

In just a few short months (June), Brian and Megan will walk down the aisle to make it official. Can’t wait to show you the love on that day as well. Here’s to a live full of health, happiness, and family bonding!
